The 27-year-old male victim died after the shooting. Authorities said Robert Braxton was shot in the chest at the Keystone Fellowship Church in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The incident happened during a service on Sunday after two church members got into an altercation. The confrontation escalated, and the suspected shooter pulled out a weapon, believed to be a semi-automatic handgun. Authorities said the man had a permit to carry a concealed weapon. Witnesses described ducking for cover on hearing up to three shots ring out in the sanctuary of the church. Braxton was rushed to the hospital but later died of his injuries.
