In a November 1995 interview of Gates by David Frost, this exchange took place:

Frost: Do you believe in the Sermon on the Mount?

Gates: I don't. I'm not somebody who goes to church on a regular basis. The specific elements of Christianity are not something I'm a huge believer in. There's a lot of merit in the moral aspects of religion. I think it can have a very, very positive impact.

Frost: I sometimes say to people, do you believe there is a god, or do you know there is a god? And, you'd say you don't know?

Gates: In terms of doing things I take a fairly scientific approach to why things happen and how they happen. I don't know if there's a god or not, but I think religious principles are quite valid.

On January 13, 1996, in a “Time” magazine profile of Gates by Walter Isaacson, there was this exchange:

Isaacson: Isn't there something special, perhaps even divine, about the human soul?

Gates: I don't have any evidence on that.

“Bill Gates Funding Of Abortion Reveals Him To Be Liar When He Says 'All Lives' Have 'Equal Value'”

“BILL, MELINDA Gates love children – except those murdered in the womb by abortion whose innocent lives they, obviously, do not 'value'.”

Warren Buffett “Agnostic,” Bill Gates Rejects Sermon On The Mount, Not “Huge Believer” In “Specific Elements” Of Christianity

http://www.theamericanview.com/index.php?id=649

In his interview with Charlie Rose on Public TV, Bill Gates has said he is “doubly blessed” to have worked at Microsoft and now at his Foundation. But, “doubly blessed” by whom? By what? What is the religion of Bill Gates ? What is the religion of Warren Buffett?

Well, in a succinct email to me, Debbie Bosanek, Assistant to Warren Buffett, says: “Mr. Buffett is agnostic.”

And Bill Gates? In a November 1995 interview of Gates by David Frost, this exchange took place:

Frost: Do you believe in the Sermon on the Mount?

Gates: I don't. I'm not somebody who goes to church on a regular basis. The specific elements of Christianity are not something I'm a huge believer in. There’s a lot of merit in the moral aspects of religion. I think it can have a very, very positive impact.

Frost: I sometimes say to people, do you believe there is a god, or do you know there is a god? And, you'd say you don't know?

Gates: In terms of doing things I take a fairly scientific approach to why things happen and how they happen. I don’t know if there’s a god or not, but I think religious principles are quite valid.

On January 13, 1996, in a “Time” magazine profile of Gates by Walter Isaacson, there was this exchange:

Isaacson: Isn't there something special, perhaps even divine, about the human soul?

Gates: I don't have any evidence on that.

Isaacson wrote: “Gates face suddenly becomes expressionless, his squeaky voice turns toneless, and he folds his arms across his belly and vigorously rocks back and forth in a mannerism that has become so mimicked at Microsoft that a meeting there can resemble a round table of ecstatic rabbis.”

Isaacson also quotes Gates as saying: “Just in terms of allocation of time resources, religion is not very efficient. There's a lot more I could be doing on a Sunday morning.” – J.L.

Bill Gates Funding Of Abortion Reveals Him To Be Liar When He Says "All Lives" Have "Equal Value"

http://www.theamericanview.com/index.php?id=648

By John Lofton, Editor “All lives—no matter where they are being led—have equal value.” — From the “Our Values” section of the Web page of the Bill And Melinda Gates Foundation. “All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.” — From George Orwell's “Animal Farm”.

The national news media would have us believe that Warren Buffett giving $31 billion to the Bill And Melinda Gates Foundation means the dawning of a new day — saving the lives of millions of people. On ABC's “Nightline”, an ecstatic reporter, Dan Harris, has said about Buffett's donation: “It was a grand, historic gesture. One that will put these three individuals in a position to change and, in many cases, save the lives of tens of millions of people.”

On his Public TV show, interviewing Mr. and Mrs. Gates and Buffett, Charlie Rose said: “Think of the consequences for those who are poor, sick and uneducated. It means Bill and Melinda and Warren can make even more real a guiding principle that all lives are equal.”

Bill Gates himself told Rose: “It's not really fair that we could save lives for a few hundred dollars in many countries, and yet we don't.” And Melinda Gates said that in certain states in India and Bangladesh, if a particular unnamed drug could be perfected, “we could save a lot of lives” among the approximately 200,000 people who have kalaazar, visceral leishmaniasis.

At one point Rose asks: “Do you have any idea how many lives the work of the Gates Foundation has saved? What do people tell you about children that are alive today that might not have been otherwise?”

Melinda Gates: “When you look at the vaccines that are out there, we know — we think we know that 1.7 million lives have been saved just by children getting the basic vaccines that we take for granted in our country… Those are all things that we’re getting in the hands of children. So you can measure it in that way. And they estimate over [a 10-year-period] I think that we'll save about 10 million children’s lives via those vaccines.”

Rose: “Ten million.”

Melinda Gates: “Yes.”

Rose: “That says it all, doesn't it?” A little later, Rose asks Bill Gates if, when he was just a “software guy”, did he ever imagine he could “save lives?” Gates says well, no, that it’s “thrilling” that he can now save lives and “I'm doubly blessed to have had the work at Microsoft and now this foundation work.”

In a statement responding to Buffett's $31 billion gift, Bill Gates has said, in part: “The impact of Warren's generosity will not be fully understood for decades. As we move forward with the work, we do so with a profound sense of responsibility. Working with Warren and with our partners around the world, we have a tremendous opportunity to make a positive difference in people's lives.”

In another statement on the Web page of the Bill And Melinda Gates Foundation it is said, again, about the Foundation, that it is “guided by the belief that every life has equal value” and that the Foundation “works to reduce inequities and improve lives around the world.” There is also a color photo of Bill and Melinda somewhere in Africa. The caption reads, in part: “Bill and Melinda Gates believe every life has equal value.”

In a press conference announcing the $31 billion Buffett gift, Melinda Gates said: “We look very much at what diseases have the greatest impact on lives. Where can you save the most lives.” Buffett, referring to a foundation of his named after his wife, the Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation, says its results have been “terrific in terms of improving the lives of people around the world.”

OK, got it?

What Bill and Melinda Gates and Warren Buffett are about — as they and most of the national media tell it — is saving lives, improving lives. I mean, re-read that quote from the Gates Foundation Web page about their “values”. They believe: “All lives—no matter where they are being led—have equal value.” This is a clear, unqualified, categorical statement. And “all lives” means — well, all lives, right? And “no matter where” these lives are being led would have to include innocent, unborn humans who live in the womb, correct?

Well, no, wrong!

Over the years, Bill and Melinda Gates and Warren Buffett have given tens of millions of dollars to various groups that perform abortions, push for and/or proselytize for abortion abroad and here in America. For details you can visit the Web pages of the American Life League, the Population Research Institute and Human Life International.

On May 9, 2003, Bill Moyers had an in-depth discussion with Bill Gates on Public TV. During the course of the show Gates had the following comments related to Planned Parenthood.

Moyers: But did you come to reproductive issues as an intellectual, philosophical pursuit? Or was there something that happened? Did come upon… was there a revelation?

Gates: When I was growing up, my parents were almost involved in various volunteer things. My dad was head of Planned Parenthood. And it was very controversial to be involved with that. And so it's fascinating. At the dinner table my parents are very good at sharing the things that they were doing. And almost treating us like adults, talking about that. My mom was on the United Way group that decides how to allocate the money and looks at all the different charities and makes the very hard decisions about where that pool of funds is going to go. So I always knew there was something about really educating people and giving them choices in terms of family size.

When I put the word “abortion” into the search engine on the Web page of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, it turned up two references, one of which I could not get. The reference I could get was to an April, 2000, $8 Million Grant to “Family Care International” to “Improve Women's Health.” It says that among the things “FCI” is addressing around the world is “unsafe abortion”. Unsafe abortion?! That’s right. “FCI” is trying to make abortion “safe”. But “safe” for whom? Certainly not the unborn baby who is murdered by abortion.

In a press conference announcing Buffett's $31 billion gift to his Foundation, Bill Gates said it was “almost scary” to get so much money from somebody else because “if I make a mistake with my own money, it just doesn't feel the same as to make a mistake with Warren's money.” But, what's really scary is that these billionaires see nothing wrong with murdering innocent, unborn children by abortion.

http://www.admin5.com/article/20070705/48024.shtml

http://tech.sina.com.cn/it/2005-05-07/0812600156.shtml
